Suzy Morgan Moore, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at the age of 50. She was born on July 6, 1970, in Hammond, Louisiana. Suzy was a paramedic with Acadian Ambulance and worked for Avondale Shipyard. She was a loving mother and Memaw and Suzy will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Suzy is survived by her husband, Todd Moore; daughter, Katelyn Landry (Gary Richoux); step sons, Robert and Alex Moore; grandson, Cameron Finn; parents, Henry Morgan and Gail Menendez Morgan; sister, Sherry Shasteen (Cody); nephew, Brennan LaCaze; niece, Morgan Shasteen; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Alix Renard Menendez and paternal grandparents, John R. and Marie S. Morgan.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm.
Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Wadesboro Catholic Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
