Ruth Olga Davis passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 85. She was born on Saturday, July 27, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Alzina Comeaux and the late Joseph Buford. She was a resident of Loranger, Louisiana. Ruth was the eighth of ten children.
Ruth is survived by her children, Debra Castay (Robert), Robert Davis (Brenda), and Shawn Davis; 6 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Dave" Davis; and numerous siblings.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Loranger Community Cemetery, Loranger, Louisiana
