Rosalie Schillage Costanza

Rosalie Costanza went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, in Hammond, LA at the young age of 93.  She was born January 26, 1930 in Amite, La, to the late Catherine and Angelo Schillage.  Rosalie was the last of her many siblings, leaving behind a great legacy of generosity, family traditions, and memories to be treasured forever.  She was a devout and faithful christian, who was a parishioner at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, and prayed her rosary every day.  Rosalie had a green thumb, and could grow practically anything.  She was known for her showstopping ferns she had on her porch.  In her kitchen, Rosalie was always cooking up something delicious to feed anyone and everyone, whether it was her spaghetti or lasagna to her famous Italian cookies.  Rosalie had a big heart and loved spending time with her family, caring for them, and called them often just to chat and catch up on life.

She leaves behind her children, Mary Brabham, Angelo Costanza, Kathleen Watts, Joann Catalanotto, David Costanza, and Veronica Perrin; as well as 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Rosalie is preceded in death by her son, Samuel Costanza; along with her parents and siblings.
