Rita was born October 15, 1927, to the late Felix and Mary Buwe Costanza, in New Orleans, LA and passed at away October 6, 2021, at her residence in Independence, LA. She was a parishioner of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Independence and a retired employee of the City of New Orleans with 34 years service. Rita is survived by her children, Pamela Nemeth (Dale) and Paulette Costa; sisters, Virginia Barthel, and Phyllis Harrison (Jack); grandchildren, Stacey Rivas, Eric Costa, Joshua Costa and Jonathan Costa; great grandchildren, Lauren Casselberry, Nathan Casselberry, Luca Costa, Liam Costa, Madyn Costa, Noah Costa, and Ethan Costa; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of first marriage, Joseph Puccia, second marriage, Bill Jackson; sister, Marie Walker; grandson, Dustin Nemeth; son in law, C.J. Costa; and brothers in law, Tommy Barthel and Leslie Walker. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Tuesday, October 12, 2021, from 9:00 am until religious services at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Loranger Cemetery, Loranger, LA.
