Oscar Floyd Norred passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at the age of 80. He was born on Wednesday, June 1, 1938 in Springfield, Louisiana. He was a resident of Holden, Louisiana.
Oscar is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Hill Norred, daughter, Shanda Norred, five sons, William Norred-Carol, Virgil "Wayne" Norred, Paul Norred, Pat Norred (Lisa), Darren Norred (Cathy-Jo), sister, Wanda Manzella, brother, Tommy Norred, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Rudolph Norred & Thelma Gehagan; brother, SGT. George Norred and sisters, Beatrice Graves, Louise Lee, Doris Stewart; .
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Jesus Name Lighthouse Church, 48384 Tin Can Alley, Tickfaw, LA 70466, on Saturday, May 18, 2019, beginning at 6:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Carter Cemetery, 23478 Hutchinson Rd., Springfield, Louisiana 70462, on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at 10:00 am.
