Ralph, age 77, went to his Heavenly home on Saturday, December 31, 2016. He proudly served in the Army and was retired from Jefferson Parish School Board. Ralph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him and will be deeply missed. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Edna Moore Dufour; sons, Joseph Dufour, Rodney Dufour, Ralph Dufour, Jr., and Eric Mullins; daughters, Christine Zapata, Teresa Wille, Melissa Mullins, and Darnelle Dufour; sister, Lois Mollere; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Vernon Mullins; parents, Leon and Maine Dufour; and brothers, “Duck”, Pete, and Ray Dufour. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 West Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, LA 70454, from 10:00 am until the service at 12:00 pm. On Saturday, January 7, 2017 a graveside service will take place at 1:00 pm at Converse Cemetery in Converse, Louisiana. Interment will follow.
