Patricia "Patty" Allshouse Lyons of Loranger, Louisiana, passed on September 11, 2021, at St Tammany Parish Hospital. She was 53 years old. Patty is survived by her mother, Susie (Brown) Allshouse; husband, Barton Lyons; daughter Whitney (Cory) Reed; son Garrett (Brittney) Lyons; her two grandchildren, Avery and Maxton; and numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was proceeded in death by her grandson Gauge Lyons; her aunt, Jewel "Pat" (Brown) Bitterolf; and her father Herman Allshouse.
Patty loved working outside with her livestock and plants and one of her favorite hobbies was mowing grass. She was known for her hardworking, determined personality and touched many people during her life. She was a 20-year employee of Tangipahoa Parish School System and was loved by all her co-workers and students. She was also active in the local 4-H community and co-led the 4-HTangi Youth Club. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and GiGi and always put their needs before her own. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A graveside service will be held at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Husser, LA on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
