Martin L. Varisco, Jr, of Hammond, LA passed away on the morning of Dec. 13, 2021 while rehabilitating from an injury. He most recently worked for the city of Mandeville. Several of his hobbies were restoring tricycle John Deere tractors, ham radio, and family genealogy.
Marty is survived by his loving and dear friend Donna Gutierrez of Mandeville; his daughter Emily Varisco of Ridgeland, MS; his brother and sister-in-law Michael and Natka Varisco and their 2 daughters Lydia and Elizabeth of Prairieville, LA; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Martin Sr. and Carol Varisco.
Marty was a graduate of Southeastern and a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. He also served on the Board of Rose Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday, December 17, at 9:00 AM at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, LA. A prayer service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, LA.
