Madeline Cecile Peltier Thibodeaux, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021, at the age of 93. She was born on April 19, 1928, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Felix Peltier and Anna Legendre Peltier. Madeline was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and their Food Ministry. She led the Rosary at 5 o'clock Mass at church as well as for her fellow residents at the nursing home.

Madeline is survived by her daughters, Felicie Thibodeaux Anzalone (Jimmy) and Karen Thibodeaux; son, Wiley Henry Thibodeaux, Jr. (Tammy Stanga); grandchildren, Brandy Cieutat (Cody), Skylar Thibodeaux (Ariel), and Sayer Thibodeaux (Jodie); great grandchildren, Gavin Cieutat, Madeline “Maddie” Cieutat, Miley Thibodeaux, Sloane Thibodeaux, and Aubrey Benoit; sisters, Florence Peltier and Anna Mae Mixon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Henry Thibodeaux; son-in-law, Robert “Rocky” Thibodaux; sisters, Ethel Adams, Lilian Perque, Pearl Gros, Nettie Watts, and Enola DeGruy; and brothers, Howard Peltier, Emmett "Blue" Peltier, Ernest “Mose” Peltier, Edward Peltier, and J.C. Peltier.

The family would like to sincerely thank the staffs of Ponchatoula Community Care Center and Traditions Hospice for their compassionate care.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Visitation will continue at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 9:00 am until 10:30 am.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 255 North 8th Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Monday at 11:00 am, with Fr. ­­­­Paul McDuffie officiating.

Interment will follow at Ponchatoula Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
