Lorraine Dunn Millet was born in Maurepas, LA on February 16, 1934, to the late Edward W. Smiley, Sr. and Ada Pinion Smiley. She passed away on November 18, 2021. She was 87. Beloved wife of the late Albert Dunn, Sr. by first marriage and the late Wilfred Millet by second marriage. Mother of Albert E. Dunn, Jr., Susan Dunn Welch (Mike), and Brenda Dunn Brewster (Mark). Grandmother of Chad Dunn (Jennifer), Lisa Dunn, Brain Sharp, Elysia McMillan (Michael), Jennifer Taylor (Gregg), Lori Bischoff (Matthew), and Lauren Adkins (Colton). Great grandmother of Emily Dunn, Rebecca Currie, Montana Sharp, Kayla and Harley Revels, Tyler, Victoria, Maddie, and Kevin McMillan, Marissa and Gage Taylor, Adalynn Bischoff, Leah, Camden, and Lorelai Adkins, Hunter and Tyler Heard, Rebecca Thornton, and Penelope Sharp. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She leaves behind her niece, Gail Addison and nephews Pail and Kirk Brignac. Lorraine is preceded in death by her two brothers James and Edward Smiley and sister Velda Brignac. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 100 S. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, on Monday, November 22, 2021. Visitation from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Maurepas Cemetery, Maurepas, LA. Lorraine will be missed by her family and friends.
