Leslie Dwight Anderson passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 83. He was born on Friday, September 1, 1939 in Bayou La Batre, Alabama to the late Irene Vining Anderson and the late Virgil Anderson. He was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.
Leslie is survived by his wife, Yolanda Anderson; sister, Naomi Neuenswander; children, Stephen Anderson and his wife, Bridget, Carl Anderson and his wife, Dawn, and Leslie Anderson; grandchildren, Ashley Huszar, Hannah Chedville, Andrew Chedville, Avery Anderson, Abigail "BeBe" Anderson, Carli Anderson, and Tanner Anderson; great-grandson, Kyle Huszar; step-children, Jairo Castro and his wife, Carolina, and Kelly Larpenter and her husband, Rodney; and step-grandchildren, Andrew Larpenter and Matthew Larpenter.
In addition to his parents, Leslie is also preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Carol Ann Ferrara Anderson; brothers, A.V Anderson and Ronnie Anderson; and sister, Carolyn Ganz.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Bible Holiness Church, 24318 Highway 22 East, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, December 9, 2022 beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM.
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
