Larry Anthony Blackmon, of Amite, Louisiana, passed away at Ochsner Foundation Hospital on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the age of 57. He was born on Saturday, February 20, 1965, in Marrero, Louisiana.
Larry is survived by his wife, Shannon Marie Gildig Blackmon, daughter, Courtney Leigh Blackmon, son, Cody Christopher Blackmon, mother, Ruth Blackmon, sister, Laurie Gaeta, brother, Brian Kelly Blackmon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Blackman.

Visitation will be at Taylor Creek Baptist Church, 1936 LA 440, Kentwood, Louisiana 70444, on Friday August 12, 2022 from 7:00p.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 13. A funeral service will held at the church on Saturday at 11:00a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
Interment will follow at Greensburg Cemetery in Greensburg, Louisiana.
