With great sadness, the family of Kevin Edward Wolf wishes to announce his passing at 59 years of age on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at his home in Hammond, Louisiana. Kevin was born in Metairie, Louisiana to Edward J. “EJ” Wolf and Simone “Timmie” Abadie Wolf on February 4th, 1962. He was the second of six children that EJ and Timmie would share together.

Kevin was proud to graduate as a Blue Jay from Jesuit High School of New Orleans in 1980 where he was a member of the varsity Soccer team. He then attended and graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in 1984.

Kevin married Julia Andres Wolf on June 7, 1986 and together they shared a son, Alexander Kevin Wolf, who was born to them in 1990.

Kevin spent most of his professional career in executive roles for various healthcare providers over the years; however, for the last 6 years, he found great pleasure and purpose in his duties as an Associate Vice President of Human Resources for Xavier University of Louisiana.

But mostly Kevin Wolf loved the water. He spent every responsible moment he could (and more than a few irresponsible ones) in his boat or in a duck blind chasing trout, redfish, teal, and the many migratory ducks that pass through the marshes of Venice, Louisiana each year. As evidenced in his picture albums, Kevin shared his love of the outdoors with many people; however, in particular, the men of Baptiste Hunting Club, Cary Shively, Joe Shively, Troy Bond whom he loved as a brother, his son Alex, and Lysle Laussade whom he loved as a son, will forever miss him on the water.

Kevin also fiercely loved his time as “Papa” to his two beautiful granddaughters, Isabelle Ashleigh Wolf and Nora Louise Wolf.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father Edward J. “EJ” Wolf, his uncle Glenn R. Wolf, his father-in-law, James S. Andres, M.D., and his mother-in-law Christine P. Andres.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Simone “Timmie” Abadie Wolf as well as his five brothers and sisters: Paul B. Wolf (Suzanne); Mark S. Wolf (Sandy); Kathleen “Katie” Wolf Keowen (Dennis); Lara, his “Lu Lu”, Wolf Morris (James); and Erika Wolf Briggs (Travis). He is also survived by his uncle and godfather Kenneth “Tiger” Wolf (Kathy) and his uncle Keith Wolf (Elaine), as well as several cousins and second cousins.

Kevin leaves behind his loving wife of over 35 years, Julia Andres Wolf; his son Alexander Kevin Wolf (Danielle), granddaughters Isabelle Ashleigh and Nora Louise Wolf; his brothers-in-law, Frank J. Andres, M.D., (Angel), and S. James “Jimmy” Andres (Martha); and his many nieces and nephews: Suzi Ruiz Guy (Matt) and their Ellie; Ian Wolf; Jonathon Cook (Angie), their Athena and Rhea; Blake Wolf (Ashley); Kody Keowen; Anna Keowen; Rachel Morris; Daniel Morris; Beau, Nicholas and Bennett Briggs; Alexis Angle (Randy), their Olivia and Zoe; Katie Andres Borders (Will) and their Liam; Kristie Andres Waguespack (Joe); Courtney Andres Floch (Jared); and Kelly Frank Andres.

Kevin is also survived by his lifelong friend, Troy Anthony Bond (Christine); Ashley Bond Candebat (Casey); Annie Bond Stone (Ben); his godson Calvin Bond, Jenny Bond, and his “Hurricane Katrina son”, Lysle Laussade (Annie Belle).
