Kenneth "Kenny" Mayers, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away at Landmark Nursing Center of Hammond on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at the age of 59. He was born on September 1, 1961, in Hammond, Louisiana, the son of the late Donald R. Mayers and Kathryn Wainwright Mayers.
Kenny is survived by his daughter, Heidi Wolfe and husband Ben; son, Kent Mayers and wife Christina; grandsons, Bryce, Brody and Brandt Wolfe, and Brayden, Kaleb and Kolten Mayers; siblings, Kevin Mayers, Keith Mayers and wife Joy, and Karen Mayers; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his grandson, Hunter Wolfe.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond on Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 10:00 am until the Funeral Services begins at 12:00 pm.
Interment will follow at Lanier Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana.
