Josh “PeeWee” Stewart was born November 2, 1981, in Hammond to Bruce Leo Stewart and Linda Higginbotham Stewart and passed away March 21, 2022, in Holden. He was 40 years old. Josh was a 1999 graduate of Holden High School and attended Southeastern University. He loved the great outdoors fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Joshua Stewart, Jr. and Kaylee Stewart; brother, Jesse Stewart; mother of his children Rachel Lee Trevino; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Josh is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Amos Leo and Ruth Wiggins Stewart; and maternal grandparents, Austin and Linda McManus Higginbotham. Visitation will be at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Friday, March 25, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until funeral services at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Higginbotham Cemetery in Holden.
