Joseph Anthony "Joe" Ribando, of Tickfaw, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021, at the age of 86. He was born on Friday, March 8, 1935, in New Orleans, Louisiana, the son of the late Tony and Rosalie Arnone Ribando.
Joe is survived by his wife of 63 years, Bena Clark Ribando, son, Joey Ribando (Lynne), granddaughters, Rachel Guzzardo (Shanna) and Kristin Falsetta (Blane), sister, Rosalie Ribando, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his siblings, Dr. Russell Ribando, Sr., Josephine Governale, and Dr. Guy Ribando.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Church, 14450 Hwy 442, Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466 on Wednesday at 11:00 am, with Rev. Michael Galea officiating.
Entombment will follow at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Cemetery in Tickfaw, Louisiana.
