Jodi Lynn Gunter passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 1:23 PM (Angel's numbers), in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 61. She was born on Friday, January 27, 1961 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Jeanette Pearl Howze Sanchez and the late Van Joseph Sanchez. She was a resident of Albany, Louisiana.
Jodi is survived by her husband, Ron Gunter; daughter, Nicole Lenora Gunter; granddaughter, Destanie Hope Harrell; and her half-siblings, Joel Sanchez, John Sanchez, Colette Sanchez, and Andrea Sanchez.
In addition to her parents, Jodi was also preceded in death by her son, Nicholas Paul Harrell; and her brother, Tommy Van Sanchez.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, September 12, 2021 beginning at 12:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 2:00 PM.
Interment will follow in Stafford Cemetery, Holden, Louisiana.
