Jimmie was born in Independence, LA, July 19, 1952, and passed away February 10, 2021, in Hammond, LA. A resident of Springfield, she was 68 years old.
Jimmie is survived by her sons, Billy Earl Brumfield, Sr. (Roberta), Whittie Ray Brumfield (Tracy), and David Wayne Brumfield, Sr. (Leslie); grandchildren, Billy Earl “Bully” Brumfield, Jr., Breanna Elizabeth Brumfield, Brandon Everett “Skeeter” Brumfield, Danielle Marie Brumfield, Jessica Dawn Brumfield, Kelsey Mae Brumfield (Peyton), and David Wayne “D.J.” Brumfield, Jr., and Anthony Francis Battenburg; great grandchildren, Aubree Anne Brumfield, Anthony Wayne Brumfield, Cameron Dale Brumfield, Presley Brumfield, Raylee Brumfield, and Faith Rich; siblings, Ricky Hollie (Joann), Judy Sturdivant (Roy), Gilda Moffett (Ron); and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Brumfield; parents, Jimmy and Dorothy Dykes Hollie; brothers, Villard Hollie, Hilton Hollie, and Wayne Hollie; and sister, Ann Stinson.
Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 North Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, LA, Friday, February 12, 2021 from 12:00 pm until religious services at 2:00 pm. Conducted by Rev. Charles Bigner. Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery.
