Iris Hill Picou, of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at the age of 67. She was born on Wednesday, October 14, 1953, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Iris was a wonderful and kind person that loved everyone and made them feel like they were part of her family. To Iris, family was everything. She loved going for rides with Keith and TayTay. She loved her grandchildren, but TayTay was her everything. They had each other’s back. She also loved her flowers, humming birds and trees.
Iris is survived by her husband, Keith Picou Sr.; children, Charlie Barcia and his wife Theresa, Kellie Barcia, Keith Picou Jr. and his wife Nicole, and January Berteau and her husband Dean; grandchildren, Taylor Picou, Draven Barcia, Joshua Stilley II, Braqelle Picou, Madison Picou, Dylan Stilley, Kyle Demarest, Brett Stilley, Keith Picou III, Allie Picou, and Jayden Berteau; brother, Dennis Hill; nephew, Dennis Jake Hill; niece, Kacie Hill; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Earlene Hill.
Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00 am at Victory in Christ Church, 26012 Hwy 42, Holden, Louisiana, 70744.
Interment will follow at Maurepas Cemetery in Maurepas, Louisiana.
