Henry was born August 7, 1951, in Independence, LA to the late Clabion Anderson and Ione Dantzler. He passed away June 25, 2021, at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. Henry was a resident of Albany, a retired heavy equipment operator with Gilmore and Sons Construction Company, and a member of Greater St. Joseph Baptist Church. His favorite past time was fishing. He is survived by his children, LaVance Terrell Dantzler, and wife, Gerica Dantzler, Doris Dantzler-Scott, and husband, Lakendrick Scott, Sr., and Henry Clay Dantzler, Jr, and wife Kristen Dantzler; sisters, Bertha Jackson, Lula Anderson, and Linda Johnson; twelve grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Henry is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and four grandchildren. Visitation will be at Greater St. Joseph Baptist Church, 198 Murray Road, Ponchatoula, Friday July 2, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, and Saturday, July 3, 2021, from 9:00 am until religious services at 10:00 am conducted by Rev. Clarence Williams, Jr. Burial will follow in Holly Gardens Cemetery, Hammond.
