Ettie Lee Badon Henley passed away on Monday, August 8, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 78. She was born on May 13, 1944, in Independence, Louisiana to Agnes Badon and the late Walter Badon. She was a resident of Robert, Louisiana. Ettie Lee dedicated her life to her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, daughter, and friend. Her absence will be felt profoundly by those who loved her most.
Ettie Lee is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Billy Henley; son, Michael Henley and his son Bruce; son & daughter-in-law, Travis and Jennifer Henley and their children Jack, Jane and Murray; her mother, Agnes Badon; as well as many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Badon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Harry McKneely &Son Funeral Home - Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Saturday, August 13, 2022, at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from1:00 pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
