Emma Dean Erwin went to her eternal home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the age of 90. She was born on January 8, 1932, in Summit, Mississippi, the eldest child of the late Lonnie and Bertie Erwin.
Emma is survived by her three sisters, Lillie Miller, Linda Harrison, and Winnie Bolda, and her grandchildren, Devon, Cory and Chris.
In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Sonny" Dupuy, son, Donnie Dupuy, daughter, Kay Lynn Pecou, and brother, Johnnie F. Erwin.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
A time for sharing will begin on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
Emma will be buried next to her daughter at Holly Gardens Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
