Dave Gerard Gauthier, native of New Orleans, resident of Natalbany, La, born April 26, 1958 passed away suddenly, but peacefully at his home on Marchl 10, 2021.
Dave was a long time master carpenter and a soulful artist who loved creating woodwork, stained glass and various forms of art including music. He was a self taught master harmonica player.
Dave is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Janice Clark Gauthier; son Pierre, wife Elizabeth, and their children Cheyenne and Natalie; and son Guy, wife, Brittany, and children Adilynn and Brock; the sons' half sister, Georgie Bright; brother Nathan Gauthier and children, Brian, and Brianne Gauthier Hua , husband Siu, and their baby Ander; brother John Gauthier, sister Suzanne Gauthier Watts, and her husband Willie, sister-in-law Connie Gauthier and her children Brandy, Stephen, and Douglas., and beloved dogs Buddy, Sophie, and Mia.
Dave is preceded in death by father, Dewey Gauthier, mother, Joan Laurent Gauthier, and brother Justin Gauthier.
A Celebration of life will be announced at a later time.
