Daisy Rayborn Norman passed away on Monday, October 18, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 74. She was born on Wednesday, January 8, 1947 in Tickfaw, Louisiana to the late Maudie Carroll Rayborn and the late Herman Rayborn, Sr. She was a resident of Albany, Louisiana. Daisy loved serving people, and she served her community out of Door of Hope Ministries.
Daisy is survived by her husband, Charles W. Norman, III; son, Chip Norman (Lanise); grandson, Gunner Norman (Lauren Stringer); siblings, Herman Rayborn, Jr., Carolyn R. Norman, and Albert G. Rayborn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Daisy was also preceded in death by her siblings, Milford Rayborn and Hermine R. Gleeson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, October 24, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 2:00 PM.
Interment will follow in Hoover Cemetery, Independence, Louisiana.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Daisy's niece, Mona "Sissy" Ogima and her best friend, Pastor Louise Cook, who was like family to her.
