Colin Edward Klein, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the age of 42. He was born on Thursday, July 24, 1980, in Metairie, Louisiana. He worked as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic at LA Caterpillar in Reserve, LA. Colin loved spending time with his wife and kids, whether camping with friends, vacation trips, or just at home. He loved fishing, even when he couldn't get out on his boat, his wife would find him in the pond behind their house casting that pole into the water. He enjoyed cooking; always trying to top his dad's secret recipes.
Colin is survived by his "bride" the love of his life, Cassandra Ramirez Klein; and daughters, Chyanne, Caitlin, and Caydee Klein; parents, Robert Klein and Kathleen McConnell Klein; brother, Robert Klein III and Regen; sister, Amy (Coburn) Hayes; Nieces and Nephews, Alex and Zack Ramirez, Preston Klein, Riley and Harper Fontenot, Cameron Bowman, Mary, Amelia, Joseph, Claire, Jack, and Edward Hayes.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Klein and Notile Breaux Klein, grandparents, Edward McConnell and Willie Smith McConnell.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 1:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 3:00 PM.
