Cleveland Joseph Suire passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, in Robert, Louisiana, at the age of 74. He was born on Friday, November 1, 1946 in Abbeville, Louisiana to the late Adea Dubois Suire and the late William Suire. He was a resident of Robert, Louisiana. He worked at BP Oil Company for over 35 years.
Cleveland is survived by his wife Mabel Suire; children, Charles Suire, Ben Suire, Hoyt Yates, and T.J. Yates; grandchildren, Courtney Marlbrough, Guinness Yates, Cayden Yates, River Suire, and Dakota Suire; great-granddaughter, Aubrey Marlbrough; and siblings, Earline Suire Crosse, Gloria Suire Simmons, Theresa Suire Ware, Ivan Suire, William Suire, Jr., Ronnie Suire, and Joyce Suire.
In addition to his parents, Cleveland was also preceded in death by his brother, Purvis James Suire.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, June 19, 2021 beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow in Rosaryville Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
