Bridget Anne Wilbert sadly passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 39. She was born on Tuesday, September 27, 1983 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Gwendolyn Wilbert and the late Raymond Wilbert. She was a resident of Slidell, Louisiana. Bridget was a hairdresser that loved music, laughter, friends and her family. She grew up all around the New Orleans area and loved the New Orleans Saints and LSU football. Bridget attended and graduated Aveda cosmetology school. She was unselfish and was willing to help anyone who asked. She had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who knew her. Friends and family are encouraged to share her life stories.
Bridget is survived by her mother, Gwendolyn Wilbert; grandmother, Patricia Egan; fiancée, Cyril Dow; sisters, Tina Wilbert Ard (Michael), Brandy Gill (Jayson), Brittney Wilbert Noel (Michael), and Bethany Wilbert; brothers, Ray Plake (Rhonda), Vinny Plake (Trina), and Craig Plake; Kade Michael, who she helped raise, and who she loved like a son; future mother-in-law, Debra Richard (Mitch); godmother, Pamela Bourquard; nieces and nephews, Frank, Ambria, Brendan, Landan, Rae, Dylan, Logan, and Baleigh; step-mother, Judy Lyons; cousin, who was like a sister, Kristy Laris; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Wilbert; brother, William "KiKer" Wilbert; nephew, Vinny Snow; and grandfather, Albert Bouquard.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Friday, March 24, 2023, beginning at 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the family for services.
