Blanche Baham Burnthorn, of Loranger, Louisiana, passed away at Richard Murphy Hospice House on Friday, November 25, 2022, at the age of 88. She was born on November 8, 1934, in Loranger, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Maney and Mathilda Baham. Blanche was a life long resident of Loranger.
Blanche is survived by her grandchildren, Johnny Pravata (Amanda), Samantha Pravata, Shanna Maples (Chris), and Ashley Stone (Michael), as well as numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Burnthorn, son, Lionel "Zeno" Burnthorn, and daughter, Lisa Burnthorn Pravata.
Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.
A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond on Tuesday at 11:00 am.
Entombment will follow at Loranger Community Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana.
