Archie E. Gordon, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away at the age of 81. He was born on November 20,1939 and passed away September 9, 2021. He was a native of Holden.
He was survived by his wife of 64 years, Alice Irene Gordon; two sons, Jimmy E. Gordon and wife Evie, and Justin D. Gordon and wife Robbie; three daughters, Judy D. Galladora and husband Kenny, Sr., Jeanna M. Johnson and husband Randy, and Joanna S. Easily and husband Scott. He has 19 grandkids and 23 great-grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his sons, Jerry Lee Gordon; parents, Walter Gordon and mother, Effie Gordon; two sisters, Pearl Nickens and June Gordon; two brothers, Sylvester Gordon and Wade Gordon; father-in-law, Jacob "J.T." Smith; mother-in-law, Audrey I. Smith; and brother-in-law, Eugene Smith.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, September 19, 2021 beginning at 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 2:00 PM.
